NTPC has been conferred with the outstanding PSU of the year 2014 at the prestigious All India Management Association (AIMA) Managing India Awards -2014 by Rajnath Singh,Union Minister of Home Affairs. The award was received by Dr Arup Roy Choudhury, CMD, NTPC at the function held in New Delhi. The awards were conferred on eleven selected winners in various categories with NTPC being the only Public Sector Company. Rekha Sethi, Director General ,AIMA, Preetha Reddy, President,AIMA, Sanjiv Goenka, Chairman,Managing India Awards Jury, Firdose Vandrevala, Vice President, AIMA and a host of eminent luminaries were also present during the ceremony.
PhD programme in Business Administration was launched in 2000 by AIMA in collaboration with Aligarh Muslim University. The programme is divided in two phases – Foundation Phase and Research Phase. The Foundation Phase of the programme is conducted by AIMA and the Research Phase of the programme is conducted by AMU.
AIMA 2nd GLOBAL MSME ConventionAll India Management Association (AIMA) in collaboration with Ahmedabad Management Association organized Global Convention on MSMEs on 29-30 April 2011 at AMA Auditorium, Ahmedabad. . The Convention was on the very apt theme “MSMEs TO HIGHER LEVEL: THE WAY FORWARD”.
